Join us as IT Business Analyst/Project Manager in Södertälje, Sweden supporting our Biologics manufacturing facility in Gärtuna.

The Biomanufacturing Center in Södertälje is expanding to meet rising demand for biologics and increase internal capacity. We’re investing $135 million (SEK 1.5 billion) to grow the facility by 50%, including new pre-filled syringe filling capability, with production starting in Q4 2027. This is the Center’s largest single investment since opening in 2021, strengthening our ability to deliver high-quality, life‑changing medicines worldwide.

You will collaborate with senior business partners, IT stakeholders, and regional partners to develop business cases, assist in business process design, and ensure that proposed solutions meet our quality and compliance standards.

What you’ll do:


As an IT Business Analyst, you will excel in the following areas:

  • Stakeholder engagement: Prioritize business needs to drive efficiency; identify opportunities aligned to strategy.
  • Requirements to solutions: Translate complex needs into clear analysis, designs, and decisions; communicate impacts, costs, and benefits.
  • Innovation & alignment: Contribute ideas aligned to AZ IT strategy; collaborate with IT partners.
  • Outcome-focused delivery: Work with site/regional leaders and BPOs to propose/implement solutions; shape business cases, ROI, and benefits.
  • Capability collaboration: Partner with architects/engineers to define capabilities; improve process performance and value.
  • Design facilitation: Lead workshops to capture functional/technical requirements.
  • Data insights: Analyze trends to inform decisions and impact.
  • Change & comms: Engage stakeholders; support comms plans and organizational change.

As a Project Manager, you will own end-to-end delivery—building integrated schedules, managing baselines, change control, stage gates, cutover, and hypercare. You will engage stakeholders, tailor communications, enable decisions, and resolve conflicts. You will control scope and change, run CRs, assess impacts on time, cost, and quality, and keep plans current. You will define KPIs early, track performance against baseline, protect ROI, and capture lessons learned. You will also:

  • Governance & compliance: Run steerco/working groups; ensure quality, GxP, privacy, cybersecurity, audit readiness.
  • RAID management: Maintain RAID; quantify impact; drive mitigation; manage dependencies/critical path.
  • Financial control: Set and track budgets/forecasts/actuals; take corrective actions.
  • Operational readiness: Lead readiness, cutover, hypercare; coordinate training, support, and BAU handover.
  • Data & reporting: Maintain metrics/dashboards; provide timely, transparent governance reporting.
  • Methodology: Apply Agile/hybrid/waterfall; ensure cadence and continuous improvement.
  • Security/privacy by design: Embed security requirements; assess risks; integrate privacy controls.
  • Site/global coordination: Align site execution to global standards; localize while preserving enterprise consistency.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Consistent track record of using various Business analysis & Project Management tools and methods to achieve business change in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in navigating complex integrated systems, demonstrating innovative analytical thinking & problem-solving skills to deliver outstanding results
  • Strong engagement, communication, and management abilities, including excellent presentation and influencing skills
  • Prior experience in a regulated environment
  • Proficiency in virtual collaboration to lead, shape, and cultivate innovative solutions.
  • Experience in working with and handling third-party suppliers/vendors.
  • PMP or equivalent certification

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Degree in a relevant subject area or equivalent experience in IT Business analysis/Project Management practices
  • Experience working within a global organization.
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical/Manufacturing industry or domain expertise.
